A: SVBA Single A baseball covers interleague play for Quickball (5-6 years old), Machine Pitch (6-7 years old), Peewee (7-8 years old), Minors (9-10 years old) and Majors (11-12 years old) divisions. SVBA Single A also covers crossover play with Wastach Baseball for 13U, 14/15U and High School (16-18 years old) divisions. For players 6-7 years old, consider your player's skills at hitting, catching and throwing to determine if you want him or her to play in a lower or higher division.
A: Single A is the designation for teams that are drafted within Southeast Valley through our tryout process or assigned to a Southeast Valley team by the Board of Directors if no tryouts are required.
A: Crossover refers to games that are played between teams from different Leagues within the Wasatch affiliation.

A. Boundary precedence is given to the Canyon's School District high school maps for Jordan, Alta and Corner Canyon.
A. Quickball players receive a jersey and hat with his or her registration fee. All other divisions receive a jersey, hat, baseball pants and socks. Peewee and above also receive a belt. Players are responsible for cleats, mitt, and bat.
A: For the 2021 season, games will begin Monday, April 12th. Check our Key Dates news article for all the important season dates.
A. Practices (days and times) are scheduled by the coaches. The league recommends that coaches practice at least twice a week before the season starts, and once a week during the season. This is only a recommendation.
A: Games are scheduled weeknights, with the earliest games starting at or around 5:30 p.m. Teams play 2 games per week, and not on the same days throughout the season unless doubleheaders are required for rain make-ups or other scheduling circumstances.
A: Unlike the local city recreation leagues, SVBA provides an organized, competitive experience, complete with full uniforms and postseason play. SVBA is a non-profit, so every dollar you spend on registration goes back into the league.

Our registration fees are in line with those of similar leagues throughout the valley. The Board of Directors and coaches participate on a volunteer basis, and are not compensated for their time.
A: There are a limited number of intact team spots available through Southeast Valley. Please contact the League President to determine if any spots are available. Intact teams must officially apply through Wasatch Baseball to be scheduled.
